The United States DEA has a National Clandestine Laboratory Register which shows locations of Meth Lab busts. They list the busts or cleanup sites by state, and they are paginated within each state. We decided it would be good to grab this data, geocode it, and turn it into a map instead of looking at pages of lists.

The resulting map shows 94% of the 12,767 meth labs across the USA. Usually we geocode around 99-100%. The rest were not able to be turned into Latitude and Longitude by any geocoder or even by hand. This is still pretty good considering other attempts (67% of 2,228 points). From the US DEA site:
It contains addresses of some [meth amphetamine laboratory] locations where law enforcement agencies reported they found chemicals or other items that indicated the presence of either clandestine drug laboratories or dumpsites.
We hope this map gives some insight into the local areas where Meth is a problem, be it rural or urban.
